12/11 cancelled, training video
Unfortunately, due to continued poor weather and deteriorating snow conditions we are forced to cancel training tomorrow, Sunday the 11th. In an effort to make sure athletes registered for the ‘weekend only’ plan get ample hill time; we will continue to extend the option for you to attend weeknight training. Training focus: ankle flex
Here is a summary of the movement pattern on which we have currently placed our focus. ‘Ankle flex’ or a ‘closed ankle’ is the ‘correct’ term for ‘getting forward’… ‘getting forward’ can mean a lot of things and is not an accurate way to describe or address the issue. Training Update & First Race
Wilmot Ski Team, Great news! Management has approved my request to allow ALL team members, regardless of registration for weeknights, to train this week Tues and Thurs night. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of the early opening of the hill and help get our ski legs! Training is 5:30-7:30 pm Tuesday and Thursday. On 12/6 and 12/8, all team members are welcome to train. We will train SL and may set some stubbies if you want to use shin guards. Most likely it will be brushes and skills and drills. No chin bars or pole guards are necessary. On 12/13 we will begin our regular T/Th weeknight…

First Practice Sunday, Dec 4.
Attn Wilmot Race Team, Management has asked that we postpone our 1st practice until Sunday, conditions permitting. The hill will have one chair open on Saturday and rain is in the forecast. Snowmaking believes they will be able to blow snow on chair 3 all day Sat and for sure Sat night/Sun morning with hopes of opening the 2nd lift and more terrain for us on Sunday. We plan to meet Sunday morning 9:30 am at the big tree in front of the main lodge at the bottom of Chair 3. Look for a gaggle of kids that look FAST – with some cool looking adults in black vests –…
