New Coach Announcement
(re-posted from an email from Gary Lieder (head of the Wilmot Mtg Ski School) Two weeks ago Coach George Anderson sent out an email to the families of racers who were on the team last season. He announced he was stepping down as Head Coach. We have been very fortunate to have George coach and provide the leadership needed to provide a quality program for so many young racers. We owe George a great deal of gratitude for the positive impact he has had on so many lives here at Wilmot. You may see George around Wilmot this season as he has agreed to help me in a consultant capacity. We are…

2019/20 Team Meeting October 19
The Wilmot Ski Team will hold the Fall Team Meeting and Ski/Gear Swap on Saturday, October 19th. The meeting will be held in the Box Lunch area of the lodge. This is the room on the northernmost end of the main lodge. The Ski/Gear Swap will go from 9:00-11:00, and then continue after the meeting. The meeting will start at 11:30 and last no more than one hour. Directions to the lodge can be found on the Wilmot Mountain website.

End of Season Cookout
(from Coach George) This Saturday we will have an end of the season event at Wilmot. The event is open to all parents and siblings of those athletes on the team. We will start the day with a fun NASTAR-style race with the athletes competing against the coaches and parents for “Bragging Rights”. The race will be a 2 run race in the race arena on Chair 4. I will combine the times of the top 5 to 7 racers of each group to determine who is fastest. I encourage all skiing parents to get in the gates regardless of ability. Congrats to USST Athletes
(from Coach George) This past weekend our U16 and U14 USST athletes were racing at Marquette Mountain competing for a spot to represent the Central Region on the Championship Team. The following athletes were successful in their quest and skied well in spite of difficult weather conditions. Cascade Race Pizza Party
There will be a pizza party held at the Best Western Hotel in Portage, Wisconsin on Saturday night. The pizza party will be held in a conference room adjacent to the pool area. The pizza party will begin at 7 p.m. All racers and their families are invited. The cost of the pizza party will be $5 per person and will include breadsticks, pizza, and desserts.
